Welcome to the Yorkshire Challenge charity challenge page in support of Scotty’s LITTLE Soldiers, the charity for bereaved British Forces children.
Back for 2022! Take on the Yorkshire Challenge in the beautiful Nidderdale area, on the south east edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Walk, jog or run the course, and choose from the full 100km, a 50km half, or even a 25km quarter challenge – it’s your challenge, your way! There’s a challenge base-camp hub in Pateley Bridge with a range of camping options, car parking, and extensive hospitality and welfare services over the weekend.
The full 100 km route is a varied figure of 8 style route which takes in the famous Nidderdale Way, Ripley Castle, and Gouthwaite Reservoir. You’ll get full support all the way, and with half, and quarter distance options – there’s a Yorkshire Challenge for everyone!
Entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement.
To join Team Scotty and fundraise at this event please visit the Yorkshire Challenge event site by clicking here. When you register you will be asked which charity you wish to support and will have the opportunity to select Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
Please note that if 50% of the fundraising total is not reached, as agreed with the event organisers, then your place will be cancelled.
