Welcome to the Mini Marchers charity challenge page in support of Scotty’s LITTLE Soldiers, the charity for bereaved British Forces children.
Get your mini marchers active! Grab the family and march your way through one month to help raise funds for bereaved British Forces children and young people. What better way to get everyone energised, than getting out and about with your family for a little weekly, march in the fresh air.
Complete the challenge as a household by marching 5 miles every week of the month, with your Mini Marchers. Link your Strava or add your miles manually. Do 5 miles in one day, or spread them out across the week.
Share your fundraising page link to social media and ask friends and family to sponsor your Mini Marchers for completing the challenge, or encourage them to sign up too! If you are happy to share photos, then don’t forget to tag Scotty’s Little Soldiers and use the hashtag #minimarchers – All we ask is that everyone sticks to the current government guidelines.
Here’s how it works;
1. Click ‘Start Fundraising’ and create your page.
2. Share the link to your new fundraising page and ask friends and family to sponsor your Mini Marcher to complete the challenge or let them know they can sign up too. Don’t forget to tag Scotty’s Little Soldiers on social media and use the hashtag #minimarchers
3. Link your Strava device or add your miles manually.
Want to do more?
Some of our supporters are keen to keep active and get involved, whilst wanting to raise funds but are not in a position to ask for donations. Instead, they are making a small donation to their own page and then asking others to join the fun and help to raise awareness of the charity.
If you are keen to fundraise and would like some useful hints and tips then take a look at our digital fundraising information pack here . Don’t forget that if you manage to raise £100 then not only will a reward be on its way to you but you will be helping the charity support bereaved Forces children and young people.
£100 pays for five children to receive a meal voucher at Remembrance, or it will enable four children to have a hand selected gift to open on their birthday, or it may go towards an educational grant to help with development. With your support we can make a big difference.
