Welcome to the Long Course Weekend charity challenge page in support of Scotty’s LITTLE Soldiers, the charity for bereaved British Forces children.
Pembrokeshire plays host annually to one of the most difficult but most rewarding events in Wales – the Long Course Weekend! This unique event lasts three days and caters for athletes of all abilities who want to complete something incredible.
To kick-off the weekend the Friday evening sees a 2.4 mile swim take place on Tenby’s North Beach. On Saturday the attention turns to a bike ride of 112 miles through undulating Welsh countryside, lined with enthusiastic crowds. To finish on the Sunday, the participants have the task of completing the 26.2 miles of The Wales Marathon. Will you cross the finish line?
We have charity places available for this outstanding challenge. To join Team Scotty and fundraise at this event please complete the registration form. The fundraising team will confirm your interest within 48 hours by email. Registration is free but you must raise a minimum of £300 for Scotty’s by the 29th May otherwise you will be at risk of losing your place.
