Welcome to the Captain Tom 100 charity challenge page in support of Scotty’s LITTLE Soldiers, the charity for bereaved British Forces children.

Friday 30th April would have been Captain Tom’s 101st birthday. To honour him and his amazing achievements, The Captain Tom Foundation are asking people of all ages and abilities to take part in the Captain Tom 100 Challenge, in order to raise as much money for charities as possible, following the Covid-19 pandemic.

Between Friday 30th April and Monday 3rd May, everyone is invited to take part in the 100 challenge. You can choose any activity that involves the number 100 – from walking 100 steps or running 100 metres, scoring 100 goals, baking 100 cakes, climbing 100 stairs, hopping 100 laps of the garden, building 100 sandcastles, writing a 100-word poem, flipping 100 pancakes – anything at all, inside or outside. Simply dream up your Captain Tom 100 challenge, share on social media using #CaptainTom100 and tagging Scotty’s Little Soldiers, then fundraise, or donate, where you can.

Tom’s simple message of hope – “Tomorrow will be a good day” – resonated around the globe during some of the darkest days of the pandemic, bringing light and comfort to millions worldwide. Now it’s your turn to build on his legacy.

The final signup date (03/05/21) for this challenge has now passed.
